About Toni
My Story -
People often see the fruit of my life—entrepreneurship, real estate investing, coaching, authorship, marriage, and global travel. But my story did not begin there. It began in places marked by deep pain.
I experienced sexual abuse early in life, followed later by rape and violence. I survived being shot. I lost my father to suicide and an ex-boyfriend to murder. I walked through financial devastation, betrayal, bullying, and seasons where everything I thought was secure fell apart.
There were moments I questioned whether I would survive—emotionally, spiritually, or physically. And there were seasons when I wrestled deeply with God, wondering how healing could come from so much brokenness.
What I’ve learned over time is this: God does not waste suffering.
Healing didn’t happen overnight. It came in layers—through prayer, forgiveness, counseling, surrender, and learning to trust God one step at a time. Forgiveness was not excusing what happened to me; it was releasing my future from being controlled by my past.
As God restored my heart, He also clarified my calling.
Today, I am a faith-driven entrepreneur, real estate investor, coach, and three-time best-selling author. I’ve been married for over 31 years, and I travel the world mentoring women who know there is more for their lives but aren’t sure how to step into it.
Every painful chapter shaped the work I do today:
- My trauma taught me compassion.
- My loss taught me empathy.
- My rebuilding taught me resilience.
- My surrender taught me purpose.
My story is not one of personal strength—it is a testimony of God’s restoration.
If you’re here because you feel stuck, broken, unsure, or quietly carrying pain, I want you to know this: your story is not over. Healing is possible. Purpose can rise from ashes. And God is still writing something beautiful.
WHY I DO THIS WORK
I do this work because I know what it feels like to survive—but not yet feel whole.
I’ve walked through trauma, loss, fear, and seasons where everything I thought was secure fell apart. I understand what it’s like to carry silent wounds while still showing up for life, family, and responsibility. And I also know what it feels like to wonder if healing, clarity, and purpose are truly possible.
This work was born from my own journey of restoration.
As God rebuilt my life—piece by piece—I realized my story wasn’t just something to overcome. It was something He wanted to use. Through healing, forgiveness, and surrender, He revealed a calling to help other women rise from the ashes of their past and step confidently into who they were created to be.
The children in Mrs. Madison’s classrooms have an advantage over other children throughout the country. Their classmate Toni Thomas displays obvious talent in the field of public relations. “Terry did not get a turn,” Toni said after gathering the most timid children and presenting them one by one.
